报告人简介：
Christopher Cullis, PhD, Case Western Reserve University.His main interest has centered around the regulation of the variation of the plant genome with particular reference to the interaction between the genome and stress environments. These studies are providing fundamentally new insights into possible mechanisms of evolution and stress adaptation. The studies have been concentrated on the environmentally induced heritable changes in flax.He also have a major interest in the determination of the nature of somaclonal variation in vegetatively propagated plants. The identification of the labile regions involved in this phenomenon are likely to lead to markers to screen in vitro plants for genomic integrity.
