RESEARCH PROJECTS:Plant cell wall synthesis and utilization: cellulose, pectin, cell wall integrity signalingand control of cell expansion. Secondary wall deposition in grasses: Brachypodium distachyon and maize. Development of dedicated lignocellulosic biomass crops such as Miscanthus sps.
