Controversial 2.25bn Dollars Bond: Private legal practitioner writes to Attorney General for more information.

 Your authoritative global news source, www.thenewstateman.com has intercepted a letter from an Accra legal practitioner and member of the NDC legal team Mr. Victor Kwadjoga Adawudu copied to the minister of finance and the Bank of Ghana, requesting for the legal documents that advised the ministry of finance to sell the controversial 2.25bn dollars to Franklin Templeton international.
Citing article 21(F) of the 1992 constitution, which grants him the right to information, he made amongst other demands such as :
The date and exact time all the bond transaction were opened or announced to investors to participate
How was each of the transactions communicated to investors
Before the official communication to the investors of the opening of the bonds, did the ministry or any of its officials directly or indirectly discuss any aspects of the bonds with any of the investors
The date and time the bond transaction was closed
Mr Adawudu also included in his request a Bankers draft of Ghc 1,000 as processing fee for the information he was requesting for.
