Breaking News: Akufo-Addo Slaps 2.5% Tax on Electricity Consumers

As Ghanaians continue to wallow in the harsh economic conditions brought on them by Akufo-Addo and his government, they would have to brace up for the worse yet as they would have to pay 2.5% more on the electricity they consume effective from September ending 2018.
Our sources at the nation’s power Distribution Company ECG and NEDCO say they have been instructed to factor in a new tax of 2.5% known as GETFUND tax, already there’s a 12.5 VAT on the electricity we consume and they envisage the addition of a yet to be computed NHIA levy.
